Sam Tse, MT-BC (she/her/hers) graduated from University of the Pacific, and began her internship with McConnell Music Therapy Services (MMTS) in the following Fall. As a board certified music therapist, she continues to be a member of the MMTS team, serving private clients in their homes, psychiatric patients, and medical pediatric patients and their families.
Sam began her undergraduate studies as a music therapy major, adding a psychology minor and performance major in 2020, studying viola with Igor Veligan. While in school, she co-founded the A String Quartet, who performed a variety of repertoire, ranging from Brahms and Debussy to pop arrangements. She was also involved in the 28/78 New Music Ensemble, Pacific Conservatory Student Senate, and served as president, vice president, and historian of Mu Phi Epsilon - Mu Eta. Though her primary focus is towards her therapeutic services, she continues to perform with orchestras and through freelance gigs, including Orchestra Next in Eugene, Oregon and accompanying Sarah Brightman on her Winter Symphony tour in Northern California.
Outside of her musical endeavors, Sam enjoys climbing, coffee, and exploring the outdoors.
